John Howard Space

John Howard Space, Jr.”Buckwheat”, 36 years old, passed away on Saturday, Feb,2nd 2019. Born in Newton on Feb 3, 1983, he lived in Sussex county all of his life.
John is survived by one daughter whom he cherished more than life, Abbigail Rose Space, 15, of North Carolina, his mother, Gail Thompson, of North Carolina, his father, Fred Mackerley of Hamburg and John Space, Sr. of Andover. A sister who he loved, Jennifer Lynn Space and her son, Andre of Franklin, a sister he loved, Megan Sue Mackerley and her husband, Charles Davenport and their three kids, Owen, Tanner and Nia, all of NC, a sister Dana Benton and a brother David Benton of Hamburg. Predeceased by his grandmother Charity Thompson, one Aunt, Sue Edwards and three Uncle's Jess, Danny and Bruce. He has many aunt's, uncles and cousins who he loved dearly.
He loved being in the outdoors and was loved by many. Memorial services will be held at the Sussex Fire House on Sunday, Feb. 10, at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
