Bates to speak to Vernon Camera Club

VERNON — Doug Bates will present a program on street photography on Tuesday, March 5, at a meeting of the Vernon Camera Club. Subjects that will be covered in his presentation include how to approach street photography, what makes a compelling image, legal considerations, and techniques used by well known street photographers.
Doug is an accomplished photographer whose images can be viewed on Instagram at adbates.He retired from a career in book and magazine publishing and was a graphic artist.
The Camera Club meets the first Tuesday of each month at 2:00 in the Senior Center in the Vernon Municipal Building. The club welcomes photographers of all experience levels.
