Softball league seeking Sussex County team

The Morris Essex Tuesday Senior Softball League (M.E.T.S.S) is expanding and is seeking men senior softball players to complete a team, or teams, from Sussex County.

The league consists of three Divisions: A, B, and the Slocum Division. Divisions A and B are composed of players ranging from 60-69 in age. The Slocum Division is composed of players 69 or older in age.

All Divisions play doubleheaders on Thursday morning starting 9:30 AM and play on fields in Randolph, West Orange, or in Montville NJ. The league has approval to play in Wantage Township at Woodbourne Park.

The league fee is approximately $40 per player. The league’s schedule is from April 23 to Aug 13, culminating in a barbeque in Freedom Park in Randolph.
