HARDYSTON — Dance Expression Dance Arts in Hardyston, NJ, performed at the Legacy Dance Championships in Sparta on March 8-10, 2019 and the dancers were awarded:
1st Overall High Score, Platinum and “SHOWSTOPPER” Award to Intermediate Teen Productions for “Another Openin’”,
1st Overall High Score Award and Platinum to Intermediate Teen Large Groups for “Shoeless Joe”,
1st Overall High Score Award, “Now That’s Dancing” Award and Platinum to Intermediate Teen Small Groups for “Let the Beat Drop”,
1st Overall High Score Award and Platinum to Intermediate Teen Solos for “Darkest Night” (Sarah Philback of Hardyston),
2nd Overall high Score and Platinum for Intermediate Teen Solos for “Wonder” (Emma McKeon of Vernon),
1st Overall High Score Award to Novice Junior Duet/Trios for “Angularity” (Isabella Portante, Alexandra Portante and Kayla Brunner of Wantage),
1st Overall High Score Award to Mini Novice Lines for “Coffee in a Cardboard Cup”,
1st Overall High Score Award to Petite Novice Lines for “Wind it Up”,
1st Overall High Score Award to Intermediate Junior Lines for “Talking Drums”,
1st Overall High Score and Platinum Award to Intermediate Junior Duet/Trios for “Songbird” (Sabrina Smith of Sparta and Julia Paton of Vernon),
2nd Overall High Score, Platinum and “Intense Focus” Award to Advanced Senior Jazz “Latch”,
2nd Overall High Score, Platinum and “ARTISTRY IN MOTION” Award to Advanced Teen Duet “Bitter Earth” (Danielle Gutt and Alexa Gutt of Hardyston)
2nd Overall High Score and “Swagalicious” Award to Intermediate Junior Duet for “Level Up” (Julia Paton and Erin King of Vernon)
2nd Overall High Score and “Class Act” Award to Intermediate Junior Line to “Paris Holds the Key”,
2nd Overall High Score Award to Intermediate Teen Trio for “Prisoners of Love” (Miranda Smith, Sabrina Smith of Sparta and Olivia Owens of Hamburg),
