VTHS to present '9 to 5'

    Vernon Township High School will present the musical “9 to 5” the weekend of March 21, 22 and 23.
    The play is based on the 1980’s movie that follows three women in the workplace as they carry out their plans to get even with their egotistical, misogynistic male boss. In the process, they manage to bring improvements, and dignity, back to the office. The cast features three strong female leads played by Blake Harrsch as Violet, Hailey Minter as Doralee, and Reyna Whitty as Judy. Nathan Fitch portrays the nasty boss, Franklin Hart.
    The rest of the cast is filled out by Paloma Lupino (Roz), Ryan Spadafina (Joe), Sebastian Leak (Dwayne), Mark Bosma (Josh), Alex Bisanzio (Missy), Heather Cordero (Maria), Mike Tlatelpa (Dick), McKayla VanOrden (Kathy), Tessa Heidt (Margaret), Cole Benkendorf (Tinsworthy) and Jess Carfello (Bob).
    Tickets are on sale at the www.vtsd.com website and are $12 for adults and $15 at the door.
    Students and seniors are $8 online and $12 at the door. Show times are Thursday, March 21, at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday night shows begin at 7:30 p.m.
