Center plans opioid use event

HOPATCONG — The Center for Prevention and Counseling will be holding an event for older adults at Pavinci’s Italian Grill in Hopatcong on Thursday March 21st from 12pm-230pm. The keynote speaker is Dr. Siegfried who specializes in pain management. Program participants will understand more about the opiate crisis and how it affects older adults along with knowing the importance of seeking alternative approaches to managing pain. Various alternative methods to handling pain will be provided as well as resources that are available through-out Sussex County.
A complimentary lunch will be provided to those that attend.
Pre-registration is required. Funding for this event is provided through the New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services.
