VERNON — Mountain Creek Resort has extended its regular winter season past its planned closing, with the projected capping of its operations now on April 1.
Almost 2 feet of natural snowfall throughout the month of March, coupled with hard work from the dedicated team of snowmakers and groomers at Mountain Creek Resort throughout the entire winter has allowed for this unprecedented season length to occur. In fact, since Mountain Creek Resort opened for the season on Saturday, Dec. 15, there has not been a single day the resort did not operate — unlike many of the other resorts in the Northeast region.
“We couldn’t be happier to be able to keep the resort open for so long,” said Hugh Reynolds, Vice President of Marketing & Sales, Mountain Creek. “Watching our guests enjoy the conditions and extra time on the mountain has been fun for our entire team. With so much amazing natural snowfall, and the countless hours of hard work and dedication throughout the season from our snowmaking team, we’ve been able to have one of our best seasons to-date.”
