SUSSEX COUNTY PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE

Feb. 21Craig Lassiter, age 35, of Middletown, N.Y., was sentenced to 18 years state prison with 18 years parole ineligibility pursuant to the Lunsford Act for two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault which occurred in Wantage Township on Sept. 18, 2017. He was given credit for 518 days served. He also must have no contact with the victims or the victims’ families, and pay all mandatory fines and fees. At his release, he will be required to register under Megan’s Law and will be supervised under Parole Supervision for Life.
In addition, Lassiter was sentenced to ten years State Prison for one count of burglary which also occurred in Wantage Township, NJ on Sept. 18.
The sentence was ordered to run concurrent to the Sexual Assault sentences.
He pleaded guilty on Oct. 30, 2018, to two counts of Aggravated Sexual Assault (a first-degree crime) and one count of Burglary (a second-degree crime). Lassiter admitted to committing multiple acts of sexual assault against two children under the age of 16 while committing Burglary.
The matter was investigated by the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office and the New Jersey State Police.
March 11Lindsey Hutchinson, 36, of Dingman's Ferry, Pa., pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled dangerous substance, a third-degree crime, and possession of drug paraphernalia and theft, both disorderly persons offenses.
Sentencing is presently anticipated for April 26.
In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to taking a guitar on May 27, 2017, in Frankford Township. Also, the defendant admitted to being in possession of Buprenorphine and drug paraphernalia on March 16, 2018, in Sparta Township.
The cases were investigated by Trooper A.Y. Cheng of the New Jersey State Police and Corporal Marc Rubino of the Sparta Township Police Department.
Kristopher K. Beier, 38, of Stockholm, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled dangerous Substance, a crime of the third degree.
Sentencing is presently scheduled for April 25.
The defendant admitted that on Jan. 4, 2019, he was in a one-car motor vehicle accident in Vernon Township and was in possession of Methamphetamine at the time.
Harry Stickle, 26, of Hopatcong pleaded guilty to aggravated assault on a law enforcemente officer, a fourth-degree crime.
Sentencing is presently anticipated for April 18.
The defendant admitted to attempting to injure an officer with the Hopatcong Police Department by kicking the officer while being placed under arrest on Feb. 6.
The case was investigated by Sergeant James Bianculli and Patrolman Nicholas Maresca of the Hopatcong Police Department.
Dariel Raclowski, 42, of Vernon pleaded guilty to fraudulent use of a credit card,a third-degree crime.
Sentencing is presently anticipated for May 3.
In pleading guilty, the defendant admitted to using an individual’s debit card information to withdraw cash from the individual’s account on several dates in November 2016.
The case was investigated by Detective Sergeant Jason Haw of the Vernon Township Police Department and Detective Kyle Rutledge of the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office.
March 13Josephine Shipps, 49, of Hopatcong was sentenced to three years in New Jersey State Prison to run concurrent with her Pennsylvania sentence on a different matter, with credit for 59 days already served. She must also pay $2,008.83 in restitution and $125 in court fines and fees.
She pleaded guilty on Jan. 28, to third-degree bad checks.
The defendant wrote a bad check to Outlaw Outfitters knowing she did not have enough funds in the bank to cover said check.
March 15Tysborne J. Reed, 23, of Jersey City was sentenced to two years of probation and received credit for 57 days already served in jail. He must also pay $155 in court fines and fees and he has already paid $1,000 restitution in full to the victim.
He pleaded guilty on Dec. 3, 2018, to theft by deception, a crime of the third degree.
In May of 2018 the defendant purchased a motorcycle for $1,000 from an Andover resident, using counterfeit money for the purchase.
Tami Richardson, 53, of Swartswood was sentenced to 210 days in the Keogh-Dwyer Correctional Facility. She must serve two years of probation and pay $73,093.50 restitution and $155 in court fines and fees.
She pleaded guilty on Dec. 5, 2018, to theft by unlawful taking, a crime of the third degree.
The defendant stole funds from the Swartswood Volunteer Fire Department from 2015 through 2018.
