Area law firm to host business seminar

ROCKAWAY — Laddey, Clark & Ryan, LLP’s Employment & Labor Practice Group will be hosting a full-day seminar for small and mid-size businesses and HR professionals.
The seminar, entitled HR 201 will be held on Thursday, April 18. The program will take place at Rockaway River Country Club in Rockaway, New Jersey. It will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m.
This seminar is an expansion on last year’s HR Bootcamp and the presenters will be focusing on employment law topics that include: importance of streamlining the onboarding process, 10 policies needed in writing, non-compete agreements, new changes in leave laws, employee pay issues, best practices to avoid and defend discrimination and whistleblowing claims, and discipline and termination of employees.
