    Frank Truatt, the owner of WTBQ for 25 years and Taylor Sterling, the Station Manager announced the acquisition of another radio station,. WGHT, which has a listening audience of 2.35 million ranging from North Jersey., i.e., Wayne, Passaic, Essex, Bergen, etc.. to NYC.
    Between WTBQ and WGHT, the broadcast signal ranges from New York City to Pennsylvania.
    WGHT went live on Tuesday, April 9, after being dark since December 2017, save for a few weeks to abide by FCC regulations.
    WGHT 1500 on your dial will become for North Jersey and New York City what WTBQ has been for 25 years for Orange County, northern New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Sullivan County.
    WGHT will also feature live call-in talk shows hosted by local professionals in the WGHT listening audience.
    WTBQ's more than 6,000 Billboard-charted songs, plus the specialty music shows, i.e., Rock Collections, all 70's music on Mondays 6 to 8 p.m., hosted by FST, Magic of the 80's, Perfect Albums, The Jazz Getaway and Jimmy Sturr 's Polka Session will be airing on WGHT as well.
    The new website, WGHTamfm.com, will be up in about two weeks and will offer streaming worldwide.
