Local fencers successful at meets

Allen Trudnos of Hardyston qualified for the USA championships at the Rockland RJCC Cadent Men's Saber on April 13.
He fence very well and after pools and Direct Eliminations (DE) finished 10th place overall. He can fence at two categories: Youth 14 and Cadet Men’s Saber (under 17 years old categories) . USA Championships will be held from: June 28 to July 07, 2019 at Columbus, Ohio.
Back in March, he finished 10th at the American Challenge East Coast Regional Youth Circuit.
Fencers also competed at the National Fencing Alliance (NFA) Cup at Little Falls Recreation Center.
Adamm Mustafa (West Milford) won a gold medal and Santino Ronchi (Andover) won a silver medal and Atticus Zmach (Glenwood) won a bronze medal in youth boys' foil. Mila Valentin (Andover) won a silver medal in Mila Valentin.
Benjamin Giralt (Sparta) won silver in youth boys' saber and Griffin Brawer (Sparta) was fourth.
