Vernon D.O.G.S. to host pet nutrition seminar

D.O.G.S. of Vernon will host a free one-hour seminar on pet nutrition on Thursday, May 9, at 7 p.m. in the Vernon Senior Center. The guest speaker is Amy Fiumarelli, owner of Amy's Animals Holistic Canine & Feline Nutrition Center in Wantage.
The seminar, called “How to Evaluate Pet Food Labels”, is ideal for any cat or dog owner that wants to learn how to choose the right pet foods by better understanding the ingredients in those foods.
This event is part of an educational series that D.O.G.S. of Vernon started last year with their Pet First Aid Seminar that featured Dr. Stephanie Chlebowski from Vernon Vet. A sequel to that seminar will be coming later this summer.
