VTSD orchestra hosts string symposium

On Friday, May 10, the Vernon Township School District Orchestra Program hosted its fifth annual String Symposium Concert which showcased the musical progress of district orchestras in grades 4-12, culminating with a combined finale number.
In addition to performing, Vernon Township High School Orchestra students helped to set up and decorate the gymnasium.
They also assisted the middle school students during their daytime dress rehearsal.
VTHS Orchestra Director Jennifer Krott said, "It was wonderful to see the progression of skills as each performing group took the stage and to see all district orchestra students working together to put on a fantastic concert. Mrs. Berls and I thank all the faculty, parents, and students who helped make this year's String Symposium a huge success!"
