Sheila Roe-Celentano, 44, of Franklin, was sentenced to two years’ probation, with conditions, and a 30-day term in the Keogh Dwyer Correctional Facility, to be satisfied by participation in the Home Detention Program, with 6 days’ credit for time served, In addition, Roe-Celentano was ordered to pay $460 in fines and fees.
She pleaded guilty on April 5, 2019, to one count of Resisting Arrest, a third-degree crime, one count of Obstruction, a fourth degree crime, and one count of Simple Assault, a Disorderly Persons offense.
Roe-Celentano admitted that on Nov. 2, 2018, she purposely prevent Franklin Law Enforcement Officer, Sgt. Robert Vander Ploeg, from effecting a lawful arrest by using physical force against the officer and to obstructing Law Enforcement Officers from effecting a lawful arrest by shouting obscenities and threatening kicks in their direction. Later that same day, she admitted to purposely causing bodily injury to another person in Newton.
Jennifer L. Castaldi, 45, of Sussex, was sentenced to 18 months of probation, with conditions, including Anger Management Counseling. In addition, Castaldi was ordered to pay $155 in fines and fees.
She pleaded guilty on April 17, 2019, to one count of Terroristic Threats, a third-degree crime.
Castaldi admitted to threatening to commit a crime of violence against another person.
