Skylands Stadium announces concert lineup

    Skylands Stadium, Sussex County's beacon for entertainment, will rock everybody with its thrilling summer events lineup.
    Whether you are a country or rock music fan, drum corps enthusiast or have serious thrill-seeking issues, there is something for everybody as Billy Ray Cyrus, The Nerds, Drum Corps International and Cycle Circus Live will bring down the house.

    Billy Ray Cyrus takes the stage at Skylands Stadium on Aug. 24 at 8 p.m. to play his latest and greatest hits including "Achy Breaky Heart" and "Old Town Road". Over three decades he has achieved international success as a singer, songwriter, entertainer and philanthropist. Over his career Cyrus has sold millions of albums while charting 35 singles, 16 of which are Top 40 hits.
    Plus he continues to receive critical acclaim as an actor, writer and executive producer in film and television. Ticket prices are as follows: stadium seats: $25-$50, field tickets: $55 and Cigar Deck tables $65 per person (requires four ticket purchase).
    The Nerds have forged a well-earned reputation for being America's rock & roll fun-omenon. On June 13 everybody is invited to bring their microphone and sing along with Spaz, Mongo, Stretch, and Biff as they showcase their signature of blend rock music and humor to create an unforgettable music experience the whole family will enjoy. Admission tickets are $30, which includes a picnic buffet.
    On July 17, the ground will quake with power, precision and passion as Drum Corps International will host an exciting competition at Skylands Stadium. Participants in this rhythmic spectacle include Encorps (Dayton, New Jersey), Heat Wave Drum & Bugle Corps (Inverness, Florida), Legends Drum & Bugle Corps (Kalamazoo, MI), Les Stentors de Sherbrooke (Sherbrooke, Quebec), Raiders Drum & Bugle Corps (Burlington, New Jersey), Southwind Drum & Bugle Corps (Mobile, Alabama), Spartans Drum & Bugle Corps (Nashua, New Hampshire) and more. Tickets ahead of the event cost $18 and $22 on the day of the event.
    For those hankering for a more gravity defying experience, strap on your helmet and get ready to be amazed by Cycle Circus Live as they bring their high-flying, death-defying prowess to Skylands Stadium on July 19 (7 p.m.) and July 20 (2 p.m. and 6 p.m.).
    The world's largest FXM freestyle stunt show, everybody will cling for life on the edge of their seats as they watch as these daredevils perform awe-inspiring stunts, accompanied by incredible pyrotechnics and music.
    Tickets cost $15 for standard admission and $20 for a box seat. Plus for $50 fans can purchase a VIP Experience that includes a box seat and a special meet and greet with the riders.
