The 2019 Crystal Springs Golf Resort’s Brews & Birdies Golf Tournament attracted a special guest when ESPN’S Dave Rothenberg visited the Resort to share information about this fun event with his listeners and announce the winners to all their listeners.

The Brews & Birdies Golf Tournament competed following a two golfer team scramble format in which each golfer hits their tee shot and the best of the two shots is played as the second shot. This process is followed through the completion of each hole for each of the 18 holes of the tournament. At the end of play the team with the lowest net score after subtracting their handicap is declared the winner.

The winning team of Zachery Finkle & Eric Hollensteir carded a low gross score of 59 and a low net score of 58 to earn the title of 2019 Brews & Birdies Golf Tournament.

The team of Jason Conti and Kevin Moran were the low net winners with a score of 53.

Prizes were awarded to the best performers in the long drive and closest to the pin skill events. Closest to the pin winners included Anthony Meo, Dean Orsillo, Scott Robertson and Zach Finkle. The longest drive winners were Eric Hollenstein and the Werr Guest.

Competitors in the tournament included golfers from all over the New York metropolitan area and some loal golfers including Mac, the co-owner of the popular Mac & Lindy's Fine Wine and Liquor.

The event was hosted by the Crystal Springs Golf Resort under the direction of Director of Golf Adam Donlin, Matt McGarry the Event Coordinator and their staff.

The event featured 4 “Brew” stations hosted by Kohler Distributing Company at different locations around the beautiful Wild Turkey Golf Course. Each station was manned by a friendly young women working for various Brews & Birdies sponsors such as Yuengling, America’s Oldest Brewery having been assigned to the event by V Square Events based in Clifton, Passaic County.
