Thom LoGiudice is an English teacher who developed a popular Literature of the Holocaust class many years ago at Vernon Township High School.
He has been selected by Margit Feldman’s children to receive the Margit Feldman Teaching Award, which goes to an educator who has demonstrated outstanding efforts in teaching the Holocaust and genocide in their classroom, as well as issues of bias, prejudice, bigotry and bullying.
The award’s ceremony, which took place at the New Jersey Commission of Holocaust Education, was given in recognition of Mr. LoGiudice’s Annual Tolerance Fair, co-sponsored with the Issues of Conscience classes, and the two speeches he delivered at Seton Hall for Holocaust Remembrance Day.
