Biango leads Centenary lacross team

Nick Biango (Vernon High School) was a sophomore who played attack for the Centenary University men’s lacrosse program this year. Biango started in all 11 games for Centenary and had 14 goals and tied for the team lead with 11 assists.
The Cyclones had two overall wins, both of which they earned on their home field. They had one win in the Colonial States Athletic Conference. Biango is listed as a Business Management major.
Chris Morville (High Point High School) was a senior competitor for the Drew University (Madison, NJ) men’s tennis squad this year. Morville earned two wins in doubles competition.
The Rangers posted an overall record of 16-7 and they were 7-4 on their home courts. They had a mark of 4-3 in the Landmark Conference.
Miles Savage (Vernon High School) was a sophomore midfielder for the Drew University men’s lacrosse team this past season. Savage listed as a Business major, played in 14 games and started in one of them for Drew. He had a goal for the Rangers.
The Rangers had overall victories, one of which occurred on their home field. They had one win in the Landmark Conference.
Samantha Drew (Vernon High School) was on the roster as a junior goal keeper for the Kean University women’s lacrosse team this spring. Drew played in three games for Kean. Drew played in three games and made four saves this past season.
The Cougars had seven overall victories, with four wins on their home field. In the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) they went 3-3. Kean advanced to the NJAC Tournament where they were defeated by The College of New Jersey in a game held in Ewing.
Christian Capuano, a graduate of Vernon High School was on the roster as a junior pitcher for the Fairleigh Dickinson University baseball team this past season.
The Devils had 13 wins, with three victories on their home field. They earned six wins in the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom Division.
Brandon Lewis (Vernon High School) was a freshman who played attack and midfield for the Georgian Court University men’s lacrosse program this year.
The Lions tallied an overall record of 10-8 with a mark of 7-4 at home. In the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) they posted a record of 4-1. Georgian Court hosted and won the CACC Championship Tournament with victories over Wilmington University (15-6, semifinal round) and Chestnut Hill College (11-10, championship game).
