Kenneth B. Leissler, Sr.

Kenneth B. Leissler, Sr., age 63, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at University Hospital in Newark. Born in Morristown to the late Charles Leissler, III and Joan (Burke) Leissler. Kenneth had lived in Verona before moving to Sussex County 25 years ago. Mr. Leissler had been a police officer for the West Caldwell Police Department for 25 years and retired from the Union County Prosecutor’s Office after his employment for 15 years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) and the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association (PBA). He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Valentina (Bragulla); his son, Kenneth B. Leissler, Jr. of PA; his daughters, Emily Ackerman of Verona and Jessica Wishman of Maryland; his brother, Charles Leissler, IV of Iowa; his sister, Carol of Whippany; and three grandchildren.
