The Vernon Municipal Building is displaying the talented work of local artists in its hallways.
“We don’t have an art gallery in town,” Mayor Harry Shortway said. “It’s great artwork, I’ll make the Municipal Building a gallery.
As folks executed their town business, they were treated to the artistic creativity of Lois Semanek, Dawn McLaughlin, Laura Birdsong, Rosita Gilsenan, G.B. Young, Agatha Wyman, Rich Swenson and Carol Chave. Oil and water colors paintings, pen and ink, tapestry and sculpture are all on display for public enjoyment.
