Theresa Joan Buono passed away peacefully in Deerfield Beach, Fla., on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020, with her loving daughter holding her hand. She was 96.
Hers was a long and healthy life, and she has now gone to be with her husband, Joseph, her one true love.
Theresa is survived by her son, Michael and his wife, Diane (nee Zak) of Highland Lakes, N.J.,; daughter, Maryanne Soward (nee Buono) and her husband, Tony, of Pompano Beach, Fla.; loving granddaughters, Jenny, Kate, and Barbra; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church in Highland Lakes on Nov. 24, with a burial at Maple Grove Park Cemetery, Hackensack, N.J., immediately following.
