Sussex Rural Electric Cooperative has reported that it has restored 2 of 3 circuits in Vernon Township and are in the process of patrolling the third.

The Sussex substation is energized and workers are patrolling to possibly re-energize those circuits in portions as lines are cleared.

One out of 2 circuits are energized at the Lounsberry Station. One of those circuits serves the Vernon Township elementary schools.

Workers are still working on the transmission lines for the Lake Neepaulin substation, however, that may not be done until Wednesday.

As of 4:25 p.m. Wednesday, Sussex Rural has reported that 6,307 members are without power in Vernon and 3,112 are without power in Wantage. Nearly 11,000 members are still without power throughout the system.
