Mountain Creek Resort will offer free and unlimited rides on its Alpine Mountain Coaster from 2-5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16, in honor of National Roller Coaster Day.

A cross between an alpine slide and a twisting roller coaster, guests can ride alone or with a friend in a two-seat coaster car. The rider controls their speed with a unique hand-breaking system as they twist, turn and dip through the trees and water park rides from the top of the mountain all the way back to the bottom.

Guests must be 54” tall to ride alone or 38” tall to ride with an adult over 16. No one under 38” will be permitted to ride.

After enjoying a trip on the coaster, adventurous guests can visit the Mountain Creek Waterpark to experience a slew of adrenaline-fueled activities at varying thrill levels. With more than twenty rides in four separate zones, including the world’s tallest double-looping thrill slide, day tickets are just $39.99 per adult.
