Vernon Township High School students had the opportunity to learn about the history of persecution and inhuman treatment under Leninist Marxism in the Soviet Union through a partnership between the Museum of Human Rights, Freedom and Tolerance, Rutgers University and the Moscow Museum. Igor Kotler, Gideon Frydman and Boris Shapiro spoke to Literature of the Holocaust and Issues of Conscience classes, offering personal narratives of life during the Cold War and eventual emigration to the United States.
