27 join National Junior Honor Society

Twenty-seven seventh- and eighth-graders were inducted into the Glen Meadow Middle School chapter of the National Junior Honor Society on March 27.

Under the supervision of the chapter adviser, Marianne Amato, the current eighth-grade honor society members led the ceremony which included faculty speaker, Stephanie Donovan, and Principal Jacquelyn Van Orden.

For induction into the society, candidates must exhibit scholarship, service, leadership, character and citizenship.

The 2023-24 inductees are Ella Bobbie, Grace Evers, Emma Heinzinger, Adriana Scott, Kendall Weiss, Liliana Appleby, Edward Bases, Layla Blanchard, Kaya Bressler, Mia Bressler, Milena Doss, Lauren Emmerich, Mason Filato, Alison Getz, Leah Giessuebel, Renee Kaczor, Lillian Kelso, Isabella King Jacoby, Isabella Kuzicki, Annika Labance, Drew Mountain, Sophia Papandrea, Maya Pelak, Azaylie Rodriguez, Jack Smales, Ivana Sudacki and Sofia Zweier.

Current eighth-grade members include Lilliana Rovetto, president; Grace Cosenza, vice president; Logan Bergh; Natalia Bock; Hannah Burrafato; Logan Clayton; Annelise Geisler; Emily Gosses; Joseph Heintz; Bella Knarr; McKenna McAloney; Chloe Miller; Patrick Naughton; Carolyn Rugel; Molly Sokolewicz; Evan Toll; Cameron Weiss; and Brianna White.
