Franklin woman faces shoplifting, drug charges

Franklin. Chasitie J. Ammacher, according to police, was found to have shoplifted from Walmart and found to be in possession of pot and pills. She was processed and released pending further court action.

A Franklin woman faces charges after borough police received a report of shoplifting from the Asset Protection Associates of the Walmart in Franklin on June 11.

Chasitie J. Ammacher, 23, was charged with shopliting and multiple narcotics-related offenses.

Police said Ammacher was found to have shoplifted merchandise from the store. During the course of the investigation officers found her to be in possession of marijuana and Suboxone pills, which had been crushed and prepared to be inhaled.

Ammacher was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ammacher was processed and released in accordance with the New Jersey Bail Reform Act.
