The Main Library, 125 Morris Turnpike in Frankford, is hosting a free, Career Transition seminar on Sept. 13 from from 1 to 3 p.m.
Julie Wyckoff, from Custom Career Solutions, will present information on transitioning careers no matter the cause: layoff, employment gap, retirement, or simply the desire to try something new. Topics covered include self-assessments, career research, resumes and LinkedIn. Seating is limited. Wyckoff has over 20 years of experience as a career counselor and executive resume writer through her private practice, and work with University Career Centers and various non-profit organizations.
