Shepherd of the Hills to hold annual vendor and craft fair

Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Sparta invites the public to its annual vendor and craft fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24.

A wide variety of vendors and crafters will be present to offer something for everyone. The vendor and craft tables will be located indoors and outdoors on the church grounds.

This is an opportunity to celebrate the autumn season, and to look forward to Thanksgiving and the winter holidays.

“Shepherd of the Hills has a rich history of reaching out to the local community and beyond,” said Pastor Jack DiMatteo. “The Vendor/Craft Fair is one opportunity among many to celebrate our unity with those around us, a wonderful community endeavor to bring everyone together while practicing adequate physical distancing as per state mandates.”

Admission is free, however, donations of non-perishable Thanksgiving themed foods will be appreciated as the congregation prepares to share their gifts with 20 Sussex County families for the holiday.

To ensure the safety of all attendees and vendors, the event will adhere to official guidelines, including facial coverings, social distancing, and capacity limits.

Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The congregation welcomes people of all backgrounds to meet, learn, share and celebrate the love of God through teachings of Jesus Christ.
