Vernon plans fall hiking program

    The Vernon Township Recreation Dept. will host a fall hoking program on three Saturdays.

    The group will meet at 8 a.m. each time for a 1-2 hour "easy paced hike".

    For those feeling a little more adventurous - information will be provided to extend the hike and go further!

    This is a free program.

    Registration is required and waivers must be signed by each person. It will run for three Saturdays, Oct. 5, National Wildlife Refuge; Oct. 12, Barrett Road to Wawayanda State Park; Oct. 19 Appalachian Trail Route 517 Trailhead to Route 516.
