Vernon. Vernon Township received a safety award at Statewide Insurance Fund’s annual reorganization meeting, held on Feb. 6, at the Park Avenue Club in Florham Park. The township received the Safety Excellence award which recognizes Fund Members that have achieved exemplary claim experience and demonstrate the management and employee commitment needed to reach the goal of maintaining a safe and incident free workplace.
