Vernon to repave Warwick Turnpike

Repaving of the Warwick Turnpike between the New York State line and West Milford Township is scheduled to begin next week, officials said.
According to the Vernon Township website, work will begin around Sept. 18.
Road construction times will be from 6:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. The road will be open during that time with one-lane alternating traffic each day. Construction is scheduled to be completed on Sept. 25.
Drivers should expect and plan for some delays during that time.
