Vernon. It’s been a strange year, but the Vernon Township Marching Band has been able to get out onto the field and during the school’s limited football season this year. They’re pictured here on Oct. 16, at their first half-time performance in front of a live audience. The brass, drums, and wind instruments cut through the night’s rain. Flags flew as the band marched smartly on the field. The audience wished the music could have lasted just a little bit longer. It was exciting to hear live music once again. The band played a medley that included “Holiday” by Green Day, “Viva La Vida” by Coldplay, and “On the Floor” by Jennifer Lopez.
