Vanderhoff places third at championship race

Luke Vanderhoff (Wallkill Valley High School) was a sophomore distance runner for the Lock Haven University (Pa.) men’s outdoor track and field team.
Vanderhoff placed third in the 10,000-meter run at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Outdoor Championships hosted by Slippery Rock University. His top notch finish placed Vanderhoff on the All PSAC team.
Vanderhoff also placed third in the 10,000 at the Jim Taylor Invite hosted by Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pa.
Lock Haven finished in eighth place in the team scoring at the PSAC Outdoor Championships.
Brianna White (Vernon High School) was a freshman midfielder on the roster of the Lock Haven University women’s lacrosse team this year. Lock Haven tallied an overall record of 13-6 and they were a perfect 10-0 on their home field. In the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) they went 8-4.
Lock Haven advanced to the PSAC Lacrosse Tournament where they defeated Slippery Rock University in a first round game held in Lock Haven. In the semifinal round of the PSAC Lacrosse Tournament, they lost to West Chester University in a game played in WestChester.
Daichi McAuliffe-Uchida (High Point High School) was a junior on the roster of the Juniata College (Huntingdon, Pa.) men’s tennis squad this spring. McAuliffe-Uchida posted seven overall victories in singles competition and nine wins in doubles competition. He earned a place on the Landmark Conference Singles Second Team.
Juniata advanced to the Landmark Conference tournament where they were defeated by Scranton in a match played in Scranton, Pa. McAuliffe-Uchida’s Program of Emphasis (POE) is listed as Biology and Pre Medicine.
Bryan Deery (Hamburg, Sussex County Technical School) was a freshman distance runner this past season for the Widener University (Chester, Pa.) men’s outdoor track and field program. Deery is listed as a Pre Physical Therapy/Biology major.
Widener tied for first place along with Stevenson University at the Middle Atlantic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships held in Chester.
