Headline lacked empathy

I am so disappointed to see the lack of empathy of whomever decided on the headline for today's paper, Oct. 31.

We are a relatively small community. Most everyone heard about the missing teen, and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how the teen died, with the information that was circulating since Friday. How could someone be so insensitive and shove it in the faces of his family and friends? It is devastating to deal with in the first place, and then to see is sprawled across the local newspaper in a bold print headline? What a horrible decision.

News can be reported without the sensationalism of shock and awe.
