Lauren M. Kwiatkowski, 36, of Newton was charged with possession of heroin after the Byram Township Police Department received a call about a female in a vehicle at Quick Chek who was going in and out of consciousness. When the officers responded, they spoke to Kwiatkowski. During the investigation, a quantity of suspected heroin was found in Kwiatkowski’s vehicle. Kwiatkowski was arrested and transported to the station for processing. Kwiatkowski was released pending a mandatory Sussex County Superior Court date.
