Studio offers calligraphy and art classes

NEWTON — 24 Karat Designs Calligraphy Studio has announced its Spring 2014 season of classes and workshops, beginning Feb. 22. Classes are for teen and adult beginner level.
Calligraphy: Beginner's Boot Camp (italic) starts Saturday, Feb. 26, eight weeks, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
One day workshops: Envelope Addressing and Etiquette, May 10. Divine Flourishes, May 24. The Flourished Name, May 31. Decorated Letters, June 21. Patterns and Borders, June 28.
All classes are held at the 9 Moran Street studio location. Registration is open now.
