Teacher aide is honored

VERNON — Janice Tanguay was the 2012 recipient of tthe Vernon Township Educational Support Professional award. Tanguay is a full-time aide at Rolling Hills Primary School and has been employed in the district for more than 20 years working with special needs children. She is a mentor at Rolling Hills, on the enhancement committee, is an area rep for the VTEA union and is a Vernon PAL ski advisor. She is also involved with St. Francis DeSales Church in Vernon as a Eucharistic minister.
