David J. Conway

David J. Conway, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at his residence while surrounded by his loving family. Born in Wantage to the late Joseph and Pearl Conway, David had lived in the Sussex-Wantage area for most of his life. He had been employed for 19 years at the Sussex County Vocational and Technical School and had retired nine years ago. David enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors. He was predeceased by his two sisters, Doris Clark and Leona McCraw. David is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary; his two sons, Daniel Conway and his wife Vickie of California and Bruce Conway and his significant other Jessica Robinson of Sparrowbush, New York; his daughter, Theresa Decker and her husband Dennis Brown of Wantage; his brother, Dennis Conway and his wife Joan of Milford, PA; his sister, Joan Gay of Brockton, MA; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Friends may pay their respects to the family on Thursday, May 2, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex. Funeral services will immediately follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Private cremation services will be held at the convenience of the family.
