David Michael Perler
David Michael Perler, 73, of Hardyston Twp. died unexpectedly in Franklin on April 19, 2013.
Born to Walter and Elizabeth Perler in New York City, N.Y., he had lived in Prospect Park, N.J., Parsippany and Vernon Twp. before moving to Hardyston Twp. in 1991.
Perler served with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and then received his BA in Accounting from Seton Hall University. He then worked as a self employed Certified Public Accountant for the last 50 years. He was an active parishioner of St. Jude the Apostle RC Church, Hamburg and had a passion for New York Mets baseball and New York Giants football memorabilia.
Perler was predeceased by a brother, John Walter Perler.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years Pamela Perler (nee Pojednic) of Hardyston Twp.; children Michael Perler of Belle Mead, Brian and Jason Perler of Hardyston Twp. and Jennifer Perler of Bradenton, Fla.; sister Betty Klien of North Haledon; sister-in-law Dorothy Perler-Lange of North Haledon; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral was held at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94, Vernon. Funeral Mass was held at St. Jude the Apostle RC Church, Hamburg. Cremation will be private.
