Loretta R. Reardon

Loretta R. Reardon, age 86, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Morristown Medical Center with her loving husband holding her hand by her side. Born in Hackensack to the late Henry and Mary (Garoff) Beerman, Mrs. Reardon has lived in Sussex County for the past 37 years. She had been employed as a dietary aide at the former Wallkill Valley Hospital and retired from St. Clare’s Hospital in Sussex. She had a very caring heart and especially enjoyed being around all animals. Mrs. Reardon was predeceased by her brother, Henry Beerman and her sister, Margaret Shellhorn. She is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, John “Jack” Reardon; her sons, Kenneth Reardon of Diamond Spring, New York and Shawn Reardon of Vernon; her daughter, Mary Iorio of Hawthorne, Florida; her brother, Walter Snyder of Northvale; eight grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
