Operation Chillout will hold its fourthannual fundraiser at Vasa Park in Budd Lake on Saturday, Aug. 9.

Gates will open at 10:30 a.m. and festivities begin at 11 a.m. It will wrap at 6 p.m. and vendors must remain at the event the full time.

The following types of vendors are being accepted: food (no hot dog carts), crafters, retail, businesses, and veteran service orgaizations. The food vendors will have the best chance of being accepted if they specialize in ethnic dishes. This is a rain or shine event, with a motorcycle show and run, a car show and music.

All the proceeds of the event will go to the homeless and disabled vets suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder. There are more than 70,000 vets living on the streets in the U.S. Operation Chillout helps them survive on the street with gear and toiletries according to the season. They also do their best to find them a safe and warm place to stay.

Spirit of the Arts Foundation is a working partner of Operation Chillout in the production of the event.
