Jane Blackburn

Jane Blackburn(nee Glow), 74 years old, died after a short illness at her home on Friday, Sept. 25, 2015. Born to Bernard and Ann Glow in Franklin, NJ, she has been a Sussex County resident most of her life.

Jane owned and operated with her husband, Blackburn Growers and Blackburn Growers Florist, for many years until 1995 and then she became a family counselor for Saint Clares Hospital in Sussex for 8 years, retiring in 2003. She loved going to garage sales, doing crafts with jewelry, collecting tea cups, reading and tending her flowers.

Jane was predeceased by her husband, David Blackburn (2006) and was the devoted mother of twins, Gregory and Mark Blackburn of Wantage Twp., N.J. Loving grandmother of Sarah, Sydni and Shane. Dear brother of Bernard Glow, Jr. and his wife, Marie, of Stockholm, N.J.

The family will receive their friends at Ferguson Funeral Home, 27 Third Street, Sussex, NJ on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 from 7-8:30 p.m. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 8:30 p.m. Cremation will be private.
