Frederik Bosma

    Frederik Bosma, 62 years old, died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015. Born to Lourens and Margien Bosma in Port Alberni, British Columbia, he came to the United States with his family in 1967 settling in Wantage Twp., N.J. He spent 10 years in Grand Rapids, Mich., and 25 years in Tampa, Fla., before returning to Wantage Twp., N.J. 5 years ago.

    Frederik worked as a supermarket department clerk for many years including Food Lion in Tampa, Fla., and Shop Rite in Newton and most recently as a Seafood Clerk at A&P Supermarket in Sussex, N.J. He enjoyed reading, trivia and following Jeopardy.

    Frederik was predeceased by his mother, Margien Bosma (2008) and was the devoted son of Lourens Bosma of Wantage Twp., N.J. Dear brother of Jessie Van Abbema of Zeeland, Mich., Trudy Cahoon of Lowell, Mich., and Albert Bosma of Wantage Twp., N.J. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

    The family will received their friends for memorial visitation at Ferguson Funeral Home, 27 Third Street, Sussex, N.J., on Monday, November 2, 2015 from 1 to 3 p.m. Memorial service followed at the funeral home at 3 p.m. Cremation was private.
