Cathy Marie Dunn

Cathy Marie Dunn (nee Olinger), 51 years old died, unexpectedly at Newton Medical Center on Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016. Born to Carl and Evelyn Olinger in Sussex, N.J., she spent most her life in Sussex and a year in Glendale, Ariz., before moving to Branchville, N.J., just more than 2 years ago.

Cathy worked as an accountant for Accountemps in Parsippany, N.J., for many years. Cathy will be remembered for her laugh and love of her family and life. She was a bright energetic woman. She never met a person who was not her friend. She loved her sons and basked in the glory of being a grandmother. Her eyes lit up when she spoke of her granddaughter.

Cathy was predeceased by her father, Carl Olinger, Sr. (2004), mother, Evelyn Olinger (2015), a brother, Kenneth Olinger, Sr. (2012) and a brother-in-law, William Martin, Sr. (2013) and was the loving partner of Pete Simonelli of Branchville, N.J. Devoted mother of Eric Dunn of Glassboro, N.J., and Mason Dunn and his wife, Jen Lemongelli, of Sussex, N.J. Loving grandmother of Aubree Dunn; dear sister of Carl Olinger and his wife, Stephanie of Wantage Twp., N.J., Theresa Martin of Stillwater, N.J., Mary Pearsall and her partner, Anthony Converso of Frankford Twp., N.J., Kelvin D. Olinger and his wife, Emily, of Sussex, N.J., Melissa D. Wildrick and her husband, Jerry, of Wantage Twp., N.J., and John M. Olinger and his wife, Amy, of Wantage Twp., N.J., Wife of Allen Dunn of Sussex, N.J. Cherished by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Memorial visitation were at Ferguson Funeral Home, 27 Third Street, Sussex, N.J., on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, from 2-4 p.m. Family began celebration of life at 4 p.m. Cremation was private.
