Frederick 'Fred' William Sisco, Sr.

    Frederick “Fred” William Sisco, Sr., 77 years old, died after a short illness at his residence on Friday, April 8, 2016. Born to Arthur and Laura Sisco in West Milford, NJ, he has been a resident of Highland Lakes, NJ since 1961.
    Fred owned and operated his own construction contractor company in Highland Lakes, N.J., for many years retiring in 2010. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, Highland Lakes, NJ and was an honorary member of the Highland Lakes Fire Department. He was a diligent and hard worker who raced his own dirt track car and followed NASCAR.
    Fred is predeceased by 3 brothers, Harry, Arthur and Wally and a sister, Laura and was the beloved husband for 56 years of Julia Sisco(nee Collins) of Highland Lakes, NJ. Devoted father of Lawrence Sisco, Frederick Sisco, Jr. and George Sisco all of Vernon Twp., N.J., Teresa Ipsale of Vernon Twp., N.J. and Elizabeth Bridge of Allen, Texas. Cherished by 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Dear brother of George Sisco of Wantage Twp., N.J., and Susie Harris of Pa. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
    The family will receive their friends at Our Lady of Fatima RC Church, 184 Breakneck Road, Highland Lakes, N.J., on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, from 11 to noon.
