Fritz Arthur Kuehn

Fritz Arthur Kuehn, 79 years old, died after a brief illness at Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice, Fredon Twp., N.J., on Thursday, July 21, 2016. Born to Fritz and Greta Kuehn in North Haledon, N.J., he grew up there before moving to the McAfee section of Vernon Twp., NJ in 1967.
Fritz started work at a North Haledon bakery and then became the warehouse manager at Country Furniture in Pequannock and then was warehouse manager for Joseph Cory Furniture in Jersey City, N.J., before retiring in 1991. Fritz was a member of the Sparta Evangelical Church and looked forward to attending church and singing in the church choir, he followed NASCAR and NHRA Drag Racing, enjoyed listening to Doo Wop music, cooking and catering to his dog.
Fritz was predeceased by his wife, Lois A. Kuehn (2004) and was the devoted father of Jeff Kuehn and his wife, Nadine of McAfee, N.J., Wayne Kuehn and his wife, Linda, of Dingmans Ferry, Pa. Dear brother of Elsie Weise of North Haledon, N.J., Margaret Weise of Wyckoff, N.J., Trudy Uges of California and Ruth Groth of Illinois. Cherished by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
The family received their friends at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94(1 Vanderhoof Court for GPS), Vernon, NJ on Saturday, July 23, 2016, from 3-6 p.m. Funeral service followed at the funeral home at 6 p.m. Cremation is private.
