Gerard T. 'Jerry' Doyle

Gerard T. Doyle “Jerry”, 60 passed away suddenly on Wednesday July 27, 2016, at his residence in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born on July 16, 1956, in Bridgeport, Conn., to Alfred E. and Eleanor W. (Nee Toomey) Doyle.
Jerry was a graduate of the class of 1974 Pope John XXIII High School, Sparta, N.J., and a graduate of the class of 1979 Embry-Riddell Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla. Jerry was employed as a jet salesmen for Falcon Jet in Teterboro, N.J., from 1979-80 and in 1980 was the vice president of sales for Drexel Burnham in San Diego, Calif. In 1985, Jerry went to Hollywood, starring in Babylon 5 and had many parts and stunts in many movies during the 1990s. In 2001, Jerry made a Republican Congressional run for Congress in California, in that same year The Jerry Doyle Show started on radio and became nationally known, so much, Jerry became the No. 6 political radio show host in America to this present day. In 2013, Jerry created and was President of Epic Times, Las Vegas, Nev., a digital mass media company. Jerry will be missed, “Jerry was the guy who owned the room, and he was fun and had lots of laughs for everyone.”
Jerry was predeceased by his parents Alfred E. and Eleanor Doyle.
Jerry is survived by his son, Matthew Doyle of Highland Lakes, N.J., and his grandchildren, Zachary, Shianne and Lillian Doyle, and his brother John E. Doyle and his wife, Donna, of Vernon Township, N.J., and he was the uncle of Allyson, Casey, Keirra, “JT” John Thomas, and twins, Kaine and Kyleigh Doyle.
Relatives and friends will be received on Friday Aug. 5, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home 241 Rt.94 Vernon, NJ (GPS use 1 Vanderhoof Ct.). The family will meet at funeral home on Saturday Aug. 6, at 9 a.m. for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial service at St. Francis de Sales RC Church Vernon, N.J.
