Margaret B. Kotowicz

Margaret B. Kotowicz, age 89, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Oakland Care Center in Oakland. Born and raised in Passaic, Mrs. Kotowicz lived in Passaic before moving to Vernon in 1970. She had been employed at St. Clare’s Hospital in Sussex and retired in 1998. After her retirement, Mrs.
Kotowicz volunteered at the hospital until two years ago. She was an active member of the Senior Center in Franklin and attended St. Monica’s Leisure Club. Mrs. Kotowicz loved all animals and enjoyed feeding the wildlife in her back yard. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley J. Kotowicz, Sr. on December 11, 1992. Mrs. Kotowicz is survived by her son, Stanley J. Kotowicz, Jr. and his wife Sharon of Wantage; her granddaughters, Krista Kotowicz and Tara-Lynn Kotowicz both of Wantage; and her great granddaughter, Abigail. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex with private cremation at the convenience of the family. Friends may pay their respects to the family on Wednesday prior to the service from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m..
