Charles H. Zuehl

Charles H. Zuehl passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017 at his home in Satellite Beach, Florida. He was 89.
Charles was born in Fort Lee on Feb. 7, 1928. Charles moved to Brevard County in 1994 from West Milford, after spending 38 years with the Apshawa Fire Department and as a special policeman for West Milford Township. Charles was also a New Jersey Forest fire warden, retired union carpenter in Passaic and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Marion (Steiner); daughters, Barbara Visaggio and her husband, Steve, of Vernon, New Jersey; Connie Zuehl Baker and her husband, Mike, of Broomall, Pennsylvania; and Dori White and her husband, Jayme, of Hamilton, Virginia. He is also survived by a brother, Wallace Zuehl, and his wife, Cynthia, of Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania; grandchildren Tiffany (Todd) Tavares, Steven, Kelley (Taryn), Kean, Devon, Aaron, Joy, Olivia, Christy, Ashley, Danny and Sam; and great-grandchildren Brittany, Matthew, Gabrielle, and Grace.
