Elizabeth A. Converse

Elizabeth A. Converse, 55, passed away surrounded by loving family and friends on Friday, Sept. 29, 2017. Elizabeth was born on Nov. 18, 1961, in Jersey City to the late Joseph D. and Barbara Ann (nee Reilly) Schreck. Elizabeth grew up in Ridgefield Park and was a longtime resident of Vernon. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband Frank W. Converse in 2015.
Elizabeth was a loving mother, grandmother and devoted wife. She loved spending time with her children and grandson, her wonderful friends and her two cats. She spent her childhood summers down the shore and her love of the ocean continued through out her life.
Elizabeth worked as a special education aid in Vernon before working many years as an office administrator at local car dealerships.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Kimberley Woodhouse and her husband Jared of Fort Sill, OK and Colleen Durnian and her husband Steve of Brick, a grandson Bentley Woodhouse, her brother, Daniel J. Schreck and his wife Trish of Wayne, her sister Maureen Campbell and her husband David of Paramus, two nieces Kristen Schreck and Kaitlyn Osterlof and many loving friends.
Relatives and friends will be received at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home One Main Street, Franklin, NJ on Tuesday, Oct. 3, from 4-8 p.m. The family will gather at the funeral home on Wednesday October 4th at 9 a.m. for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial Service at St. Jude the Apostle RC Church, committal service at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
